TagalogTagalog is spoken by over 90 million people in the Philippines, United States, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and Saudi Arabia. Tagalog is the official language of the Philippines, although English is also widely spoken. The spoken language varies according to dialects which can be roughly categorised as Northern, Central, Southern and Marinduque. There are numerous less common dialects but these have not yet been properly identified in a full dialectology. Tagalog uses only the Roman alphabet.
