IndonesianIndonesian is the official language of the republic of Indonesia, and is spoken by about 200 million people there, as well as an additional 20 million Malays who can understand it.
Indonesian is known as Bahasa Indonesian or, incorrectly, Bahasa. A number of words are similar to English and Indonesian officially uses the Roman alphabet. A large number of online resources have developed recently, although relatively few search engines cater for the Indonesian web.
