Meet our Team - Betsy Zhang, Beijing Client Services ManagerBetsy has overall responsibility for keeping our clients in Asia satisfied, as well as supporting several accounts in Europe. Her combination of passion for client satisfaction with a process-oriented approach to delivery of projects is a winner. She can take much of the credit for recruiting and developing our client services team in Beijing, who manage key accounts including 3i, Marsh, Metso, Prudential, PWC, and Tektronix. Betsy first joined Asian Absolute in 2004 as a Project Manager and was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2006. After developing our client base in Asia, her interest focused on satisfying clients by delivering an excellent service and she became Client Services Manager the following year. A Chinese citizen, Betsy graduated from Assumption University (ABAC) in Bangkok, Thailand; the first international university in Thailand to use English as the teaching medium. Here she majored in International Business Management, developing her understanding of how cross-cultural communication can be achieved most effectively. Prior to joining Asian Absolute she worked as an international purchaser, responsible for dealing with suppliers across Europe and Asia. She then moved into marketing, where she was instrumental in expanding furniture export sales to Australia, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway and the USA. Betsy remains a key member of the Asian Absolute team as we develop; never shy to take on new challenges and always committed to improving the efficiency and relevance of the teams, clients and projects she oversees. With an active and adventurous nature, she loves all kinds of sports, especially swimming - to the extent that she believes she was a fish in a previous life. She enjoys nature and beaches, particularly Phuket and Gran Canaria, where she developed her lifelong love of tanning.
