Onusa has the challenging task of identifying and developing Asian Absolute's freelance resources, in particular translators. The company's insistence on quality work means that she is able to accept only the very best applications, yet she is responsible for ensuring that capacity stays ahead of ever-expanding client demand.

Working closely with the London Operations team, Onusa also works on the allocation of specific projects to external linguistic resources. She has been the mastermind behind many of the teams that have managed to complete very large projects within seemingly impossible timescales.

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Onusa had a very active childhood and enjoyed playing tennis and the violin. After graduating from high school a year early, she studied Politics at the prestigious Thammasat University, Bangkok. During her first year, Onusa worked for a political party as a junior election campaign committee member, in preparation for the national election. Throughout her undergraduate years Onusa also worked as radio documentary reader.

After graduating with first class honours, Onusa joined a Social Science Research Consultancy firm in Bangkok where she recruited and managed field researchers to undertake government research projects. She then studied Politics at The University of Birmingham where she was awarded an MA in International Political Economics and won an Overseas Research Scholarship to undertake her PhD. Her thesis explored regionalism in Southeast Asia through two in-depth case studies of human rights issues in Burma/Myanmar, and the Southeast Asian Economic Crisis. She conducted interviews with high profile diplomats and government ministers across the region.

Onusa subsequently worked in HR within the UK retail industry, most recently looking after 300+ staff, before joining Asian Absolute where she is responsible for a resource base of several thousand.
