Asian Absolute's Asia-Pacific expansion brings great benefitsSpurred on by the successes of our London and Beijing operations, Asian Absolute has expanded its global reach, with offices in Melbourne and Chiayi, and with well-advanced preparations for Tokyo. More offices in more places mean we're now better able to support Asia-Pacific clients who want to expand globally. Working with our local account managers, clients can readily access expertise across all markets, eliminating the need to deal with a vendor in the wrong time-zone even for European projects. Our global offices also benefit clients outside of Asia who are looking to target Asian markets. With more in-house linguists all over the world, we're in a better position to deliver reliable, high quality translations, even faster and more flexibly. Clients in Europe can have the convenience of accessing these services through our London team. Multinational clients benefit too, as they can now contract with us at a global level knowing that their local offices can work with our local teams. Plus, with five offices in different time zones, we can offer support 20 hours a day. Chiayi and Tokyo With our client base in Asia experiencing rapid growth, we felt we needed to be more accessible to our Asian clients. By opening offices in Chiayi and Tokyo, we'd be able to offer on-the-ground, local account managers, while boosting the numbers of in-house linguists. Plans were already in the works, but the recent acquisition of three very large accounts in Asia has meant we're opening the offices earlier than originally expected. The new Chiayi office is now operational, providing both a base for our in-house Traditional Chinese translators, and a platform from which we can liaise with clients in Taiwan. We're currently finalising arrangements for our Tokyo office, and expect to complete registration in Q3 2010. Melbourne office In mid-2009 we opened our office in Melbourne, Australia. As well as bringing us closer to our Australian clients, the Melbourne office enables our team's working hours to overlap with office hours in the US, and with the hours of the Beijing production team and translators across Asia. We won't pretend that we predicted it, but it's certainly good news that Australia is the only developed economy in the world to have avoided recession. London, GMT - info@asianabsolute.co.uk
