Multilingual transcription services are often one of the first steps in translation, subtitling or voiceover projects. We provide all these services, but are happy to handle just the transcription if required.

Transcription and subtitling by specialists

By handling subtitling production through our Beijing office we're able to offer cost-effective multilingual subtitling services. In addition to all European languages, Russian and Turkish we provide subtitling services for the more challenging double-byte languages (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) and right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.

Our multilingual transcription services are delivered by specialist transcribers who are able to complete the work faster and in a more cost-effective way than by using translators.

Flexible subtitling services

We can handle subtitling in a variety of ways, depending on what our clients need.

When working from video without subtitles, for example, we might handle all the transcription and time coding, translation, character generation and customising styles. The newly subtitled video would then be thoroughly checked by us to ensure that all the subtitles read smoothly and are tightly matched to the audio.

Alternatively, we can handle just one or two of these steps for clients who prefer to use in-house resources for some of the tasks.

We work for a number of specialist subtitling companies who outsource all the linguistic aspects to us, while we often work for translation companies who handle the linguistic work themselves and use us to produce the subtitles.
